The "weekend of USA rock stars"

If you liked Tommy James and the Shondells (I Think We're Alone Now was my idea of a great romantic song), The Supremes, The Beach Boys, or sung to The Archies "Sugar, Sugar in 1969 when he was No. 1, this festival is for you.

"ROCK CON: The Weekend of 100 Rock Stars " is presented as the first National Rock & Roll Fan Fest. It will be held July 30-August 1 at the Sheraton Centre Hotel and Conference Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ

Who you might see: The Beach Boys Al Jardine, a former Supreme Mary Wilson (pictured at right, she looks pretty amazing), Johnny Winter, Tommy James, current or former members of The Yardbirds, Animals, The Hollies, The Rascals, Archies, Brooklyn Bridge and more. There will encounter hosts, concerts, round tables, screening and market memorabilia. Tickets are $ 20 - $ 30 a day in advance, $ 30 - 40 $ at the door. Taylor Momsen makes her first concert in the UK with his band "The Pretty Reckless" on Wednesday (May 12) London Notting Hill Arts Club. The 16-year-old Gossip Girl actress was admitted to "relax"by playing with his switchblade knife. "I have a knife collection. My favorite is my switchblade, "she told Metro. "I flew from New York to Los Angeles and still had a couple of knives in my bag. I thought I took all but rolled up in the past by security folds.I , has taken on the plane, opened my bag to get my portfolio in Los Angeles and they fell. I was like "Holy s ***!'" She added:" I have my favorite knife black with me all the time. This is a switchblade. It relaxes me for the film. "
